Terms of Service

GPT GIF is an independent tool for creating animated GIFs from a text prompt or a photo. It is not affiliated with OpenAI. ChatGPT and GPT Image are trademarks of OpenAI.
Your photos and instructions
You must have permission to upload and use any photo you submit. Do not upload photos of minors, intimate images, or material intended to impersonate, harass, or deceive another person. Do not request unlawful or abusive content.
Content policy
You may not use GPT GIF to create, or try to create, any of the following:
- Sexual, nude, or otherwise NSFW content
- Violent, gory, or self-harm content
- Hate speech, or content that harasses or demeans people based on protected characteristics
- Any content involving minors in an unsafe, sexualized, or exploitative way (we report child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities)
- Deepfakes or impersonation: content that animates a real person without their consent, or is meant to deceive others about who said or did something
- Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other rights, including other people's characters, artwork, or logos
These rules apply to the photos you upload, the instructions you add, and how you use the GIFs you download.
Reporting. If you see a GIF made with GPT GIF that breaks these rules, or that uses your likeness without permission, email support@gptgif.app with a link or description. We aim to review reports within 2 business days.
Moderation. Requests are checked by our moderation provider and our image model providers' safety filters, and we may review inputs and outputs when we receive a report or detect misuse.
Enforcement. If we find a violation, we may block the request, delete the related photos and GIFs, suspend or close the account, and keep credits used for violating requests. Serious cases, including any involving minors, may be reported to law enforcement.
Your GIFs
You may use GIFs you create for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these terms and the rights of others. You are responsible for how you use them.
Generation and credits
Each GIF has a credit cost shown before submission. We reserve that amount when generation starts and charge it only when the task completes. If the task fails, we return the reserved credits. AI outputs can vary and may not preserve every visual detail of the source images.
Credits are sold in one-time packages and do not expire. Free credits granted at sign-up expire one month after they are granted. There is no recurring subscription in this version of the service. See the Pricing and Refund Policy pages before purchasing.
Availability
Generation depends on a third-party model service and may be delayed or unavailable. We may reject inputs or outputs that violate these terms or service-provider rules. We may update models, prices, or features prospectively; the cost displayed before your submission applies to that task.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available, or that any AI-generated GIF will be accurate, match your photos, or suit a particular purpose. Results vary from one generation to the next.
To the extent permitted by law, GPT GIF is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or the GIFs it creates. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
